DALLAS Tx., April 17 - Smart Wear Clothing continues to inspire new clients and advertisers as the Dallas based clothing company was recently taken on by popular senior publication, 'The Senior Voice.'
While the Smart Wear brand has experienced a marked increase in sales and exposure over the last two months, the company has been cautious about ad spending. But recently, co-president and founder, LeaAnn Yost announced that Smart Wear was ready to pull the trigger on some potentially lucrative advertising opportunities.
"I have to be realistic about where we are - and honestly, we are just getting into the early stages of promotion and marketing. Until about two weeks ago, we just weren't ready to take on any serious advertisers. But I am 100% confident in our new marketing strategy and feel we are ready to push our brand to the next level," Yost said.
'The Senior Voice' approached Smart Wear about three weeks ago to discuss advertising and editorial options after senior editor, Carol Butler, read a company press release.
"After reading some press releases and doing some research, I was very impressed with what the company was doing; I just had to get them in our publication. I know how difficult it is to decide on advertising, especially for start-ups, but I feel Smart Wear will really benefit from working with us," Butler said.
Smart Wear will be running a full page promotion in this spring's edition of 'The Senior Voice,' including; a half page ad, half page editorial and full-sized banner ad on the magazine's new website. According to Jennifer Sebey, Smart Wear's web designer and marketing coordinator, the opportunity is golden.
"It's really unique because they [The Senior Voice] pursued us, and have been more than willing to work with us on pricing and package bundling. It was an opportunity we couldn't refuse - they have a loyal readership base and appeal to our target market. We are confident the ad will bolster exposure and draw new clients," Sebey said.

DALLAS, Tx., Mar. 22 - Smart Wear Clothing is aiming high as spring and summer roll
in. The up-and-coming clothing
line has been hosting vendor shows across the metroplex preparing for the
change of the seasons – but as the companies client base continues to grow, the
need for a fresh new line has become a top-priority.
Smart Wear founder and co-president, LeaAnn Yost, announced
today that the company is introducing a new women’s line which includes; a ¾
sleeve and full sleeve animal print blouse and another women’s formal dress
shirt.
“We are very excited about the line extension. It’s a good sign that there is a demand
to do this,” Yost said. “We are
currently in the design phase and will be releasing more information as we get
closer to the finished product.”
According to Smart Wear web designer and marketing
coordinator, Jennifer Sebbey, the new line has been in the works for a while,
but up until last month, the company had not experienced enough growth to
seriously take on the project.
“We have been working on this [the new line] behind the
scenes, but honestly, didn’t expect to seriously unroll it for a while. It’s a great opportunity to attract new
customers and we’re very optimistic about it.
Smart Wear expects to launch the women’s line as early as
next month, and is hoping to capitalize on the warmer weather. Previews of the new apparel will soon
be available on the companies website and at upcoming vendor shows. The next vendor show is April 30th
from 11am-2pm at the Granbury Wellness Center in Granbury, Tx,. The show
is expected to draw a ‘larger-than-average’ crowd as anticipation for the new
line continues to grow.

DALLAS, Tx., Mar. 8 - Yesterday marked a monumental day for
the Smart Wear brand – in addition to another very successful vendor show at
Prestonwood Court in Plano, the company confirmed its first official
‘out-of-state’ sales order.
Around
5pm, co-founder and acting president of Smart Wear Clothing, LeaAnn Yost
announced she had received an order confirmation from Illinois. While the order, a women’s blouse and
set of khaki pants, isn’t exactly newsworthy in and of itself - the
implication of the interstate sale notes an exciting new era for the company.
“I
was elated and very surprised when I received the order. I know our work within the Dallas area
has given us some notoriety, but to know our brand is reaching people in other
states is very exciting,” Yost said.
Over
the last six months, Yost and her colleagues at Smart Wear Clothing have
experienced exponential growth, but until yesterday, the brand had only
established a small niche within the Dallas market. It’s clear; the future seems bright for the start-up
clothing line, but its difficult to determine what actually contributed to the
sale in Illinois.
“I
was equally ecstatic to hear about the order,” web designer and marketing
coordinator, Jenifer Sebbey said.
And honestly, I feel our newly implemented marketing plan has really
broadened our reach. Our web
presence has increased two-fold since joining social media sites like;
Facebook, Twitter and Blogspot.
They just drive more and more traffic to our home site - it's become
an integral part of our business.”
With
no plans of slowing down, Smart Wear looks to rev-up their efforts heading into
the summer months, both in Texas and abroad. According to Yost, the company expects continued success as
the brand keeps growing and gaining prominence.
